“I need to add a CAT6 cable to cables previously installed in-wall with power kit WMC701. How do you remove trim ring without damaging it? Do you need to or recommend removing both in-wall modules in order to run the additional CAT6 cable?”

Flat head screwdriver , look for the little gap in between
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. The trim ring snaps on/off the module. Use a flat head screw driver to gently pry the trim ring off. Routing cables through the upper and lower holes will be very difficult without removing the modules. Please review our installation instructions using the below link.
