A:Answer You should have two ways to change resistance. On the console to the right and left sides you will see numbers from 1 to 25. Those are resistance levels. Selecting any of those will raise and lower the resistance the higher or lower the number you set. There's also a switch for just manually pushing for resistance on the console in the center left. Also, is your console connected to power and has the console screen lit up? If you have tried these things and none have worked, you probably want to call customer support. Note the bike can be used without plugging the console in from the front, you just can't adjust the resistance if the console isn't powered up. One final suggestion, if you've plugged the console in and the console is not powering up from the quick start, check to see if you have the power adapter plugged in to the upper or lower part of your outlet. If its the upper, you might want to check whatever light switch is associated with that outlet and make sure its set to the on position. Good luck.
