• This suction cup has an adhesive layer, for plastic dashboards and such. Not sure how it would perform on glass. Angle is wrong for a windshield.

• The suction cup actually has a round adhesive area that gives the suction much more strength as well as a locking mechanism that helps it keep from falling off. I have not had any issues in the 3 months of usage.

• It should, I used it to hold my tablet and never fell off window. The suction is very strong.
