A:Answer Due to the size of my car (GMC Yukon) and cigarette lighter placement, I personally felt this accessory held my iPhone XS too far out of my line of sight to be able to recommend this product to someone looking to keep a device within a reasonable/comfortable field of vision for quick, easy glances. It was certainly near my steering wheel, but it only got in the way and I bumped it a lot when I drove. Placing the adhesive piece that goes on your device near the bottom of my phone made a much bigger difference than I thought as far as the height it was held, but it was still not high enough for my liking - plus it was in the way of my radio and AC controls.
The arm seemed to be about 6-8 in. long and has to keep somewhat of a curve due to the product’s shape, but the height of the phone or device you use makes a big difference too, depending on the placement of your power source. You may want to check out some of the other accessory options this brand has. They have other options that may be a better fit for you than this one. Hope this was helpful.
