Most drives are very durable. People will pick up thier system with the hard drive spinning. If the head starts to bounce you crash your platters. Always shut system off before you move.

However this SKU has not been in production for a while and Best Buy may or may not have this in stock. Best bet is to check with Best Buy to make sure you are getting the correct SKU as newer SKU numbers may have only a 1 year warranty. Make sure you check with Best Buy before purchasing.
