• No. This is an internal hard drive for desktops only. However, they do offer internal hard drives for laptops. Just check to make sure the connection port is compatible with your Macbook first before purchasing.

• This is a SATA III drive. A flash drive is a USB connection device. How were you planning on connecting the SATA to a USB socket?

• No. the MacBook airs use a proprietary hard drive. I paid $500 for my 512 GB drive.
