No, how can a 3.5" drive fit in a 2.5" slot? I you need a 1tb drive for the 5050 either use the SSD or Hybrid SSD+SATA form Seagate. Most of the 5050's need a fair bit of disassembly to replace the drive. Recommend looking at a new laptop instead, if within budget.
