• Based on the model number you provided,yes, this will work on your computer. As long as the connection is SATA, this hard drive will work on your system. If you have a larger hard drive, you might not be able to fit all of your data on this one (if you can have it recovered.)

• You will need the 2.5" to 3.5" adaptor to mount the drive but yes it will work.

• This is an external drive It will work with ANY computer than has a USB-3 or USB-2 connection. It isn't meant to replace the internal drive. Plug and play! If you're looking to replace the internal drive, buy a bare drive, not this one. For one thing, it's too big to fit inside of your desktop! And it also doesn't have an operating system on it, so you can't boot from it anyhow!
