Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only way to find out is to purchase one and disassemble. If there is an adapter board between the sata drive connectors and the USB cable. Some companies use special connectors now to prevent this like western digital. If there is a board , then you can remove it and then use the drive with the normal sata power and data connectors in your pavilion - assuming it uses sata.
