• Dear PC123, Okay, your HP DX2200 Microtower is a 2006 model. I found that it had a 160 GB SATA HD in the original case. Based on my experience, I think the 1 TB SATA HD will be recognized by your HP DX2200 Microtower during installation. Go for it. Best of luck.
