A:AnswerI haven't used it on a Wii, but I did connect it to my network router to create a network cloud. The connection I used was originally intended for a finger drive. This suggests to me that any component that a finger drive will work on, this will work as expanded storage. If the Wii has a usb port that connects to any type of storage, I think this will work.
A:AnswerWorks fine with Windows 10 Pro. I assume it will also work with Windows 10 Home, but I do not have any machines running the Home version so I cannot say with complete certainty.
A:AnswerIpad) not sure. That would be a limitation of iTunes on where it's able to write to. If it can write to other externals than it could to this as well.
Win 7) I use macrium reflect free to back up my pcs drives and wrote to this drive just fine.
A:AnswerBest bet is make an ubuntu live cd or startup USB. I personally would use a 4GB or 8GB usb. I had to recover data from many hard drives as they fail and ubuntu lets you copy and retry without aborting the entire process, that way you can start copying, and the hard drive flakes on and off, you just have to keep retrying.
A:Answeryes.
you MIGHT have to format (erase) it using disk utility. but once you do that. it will be great.
(i do that with any new external drive anyway).
when erasing, choose:
- osx journaled if you only plan to use it with macs
- exfat if you plan to use it with both mac and windows
A:AnswerYes. It will work with Time Machine! You will just need to take the very easy step of formatting it with the OSX Drive Utility. That is the only difference between the Mac Version & This version. Buy the Mac one and you're essentially paying someone at Seagate $10-50 to format the same exact drive. If the price difference is worth it for you for peace of mind or stress avoidance I say pay it and not worry about it.
Hope this helps.
A:AnswerIt worked for mine! No issues. It will ask you to erase everything on the drive first, not a problem, and then you can sync. Worked like a charm! 54 GB in only about 20 minutes.
