• It is compatible with MacOS and Windows. When you connect the drive to a Mac, there is a folder with software for the Mac, but I just use it with Time Machine without installing anything.

• I really like this product product. It had the most tetra bites for the money. I do not have a Mac Pro but I am positive that the Mac pro would have a port to plug this into those plugs are universal it holds tons of storage.
