• A:Answer If you're referring to loading the digital version of a game (backup) and/or using this as extra space, yes, it will work on the PS5, but it will be limited to Ps4 games (PS5 games do not work on additional storage, yet). If you want to copy Playstation games from a disc onto this drive, then play them... Unlikely. There may be a way to do it, but I'd think you may be breaking the Terms of Use Agreement. Hope this helps.

• A:Answer Yes. Any external hard drive that is compatible for PS4 is also compatible with PS5. However, you can only use external hard drives to store PS4 games only when using on a PS5. You will not be able to store PS5 games.

Q: QuestionSo I am getting the new Xbox soon and wanted to transfer games that I bought on the old xbox. Will this be able to transfer the games from the old Xbox to the new Xbox without a problem?

• A:Answer So idk if you can do it with the Xbox, but this is a Christmas present for my son that he picked out to do the same thing, but with the new PlayStation. He hasn’t used it yet since it’s to be an Xmas present, but he did tell me that this is the exact same device as the ones being marketed with the Xbox and PlayStation labels, just cheaper because there’s no logo on it. To my understanding, the ones with the logos are being sold to do what you are wanting to do, so no reason why this wouldn’t do what the logo ones do. Sorry...wish I could be more help.

• A:Answer Yes it is compatible but it won't allow you to play new PS5 titles from the hard drive. You can store the game on it but would need to transfer to the system to play. Older games from previous systems would play just fine from this drive.

• A:Answer Expansion doesn't mean anything special. It just offers you another 2TB of disk space. It will appear as an extra drive on Windows, e.g. D: Normally these things are used to keep backups from Windows.
