I have deleted and partitioned and formatted for NTSF.
A:AnswerDepends upon the backup software. Easus, Aomei yes. My choice is Macrium Reflect (free addition works very well). Macrium creates an image of your chosen folders (or drive).
All require that the target drive be as large (or larger) than the source.
A:AnswerAnonymous - thanks for your response, but my question did not address airflow in the case. Rather, I was inquiring whether or not the enclosure can be opened to change out the drive when it inevitably dies at some point.
A:AnswerI am sorry I don have the answer but I did buy a western digital and it broke down right away and it took me weeks and an effort to get a new one, so I recommend the seagate which is very good and smooth
