• A:Answer Remote start will work on on vehicles w/o power windows or locks. If you are adding remote lock as part of your security system, you will need power locks. If adding power locks, you will need to add the power lock hardware in your doors, run wires (if your harness does not have the proper wires already installed), to the fuse block and a switch to actuate it.
