QuestionIs this product just the led strip or does it come with the whole package?

- Answer It comes with the LED strip, power supply, and Zigbee radio. The strip has an adhesive backing, and the power cables a pretty long. This kit must be paired to either a Sengled hub, or a home automation hub like Hubitat Elevation or SmartThings.

QuestionCan the strip be cut then connected into shorter segments? This seems to be the elephant in the room that no one has answered. My cabinet is not 87". There are several: 20", 30" 40".

Questioncan you cut the led strip and have the one you cut light up while another strip you cut is lighting up

- Answer The strips are driven by one power supply in a line. If you were good with a soldering iron you could do this but once you cut the strip you also cut off the connector to put the second strip in line.

- Answer No, but you can use the SmartThings app to control or automate it. I’m using mine as kitchen cabinet lighting that automatically turns on when motion is detected.

- Answer I don't know for sure, but I don't see why they wouldn't be able to. Just make sure they're covered so they don't get wet.

- Answer It isn't required but helps. Basic functions such as power and color cycle are avaliable without the hub but are limited. The hub allows you to dim and access more colors. Would definitely recommend going ahead and buying the hub as well.
