Hello- Our current wireless headphones do not feature an audio "through", meaning that they have one set of input jacks. If you have a set-top HD, satellite or DVR box, you can often connect to the audio outputs on the rear of that component. You may also be able to find a headphone plug, and use that connection for the wireless headphones when required.

If you have the Bose system I had with just the cube speakers and the subwoofer that is all controlled by an independent AVR unit should allow you to plug directly into the AVR unit and not use the Sennheiser base unit as an integral part, which I don't think would be prudent nor do I think it would work. If your AVR unit is Bose like the lifestyle unit I don't know much about those units but if they didn't have plugs for your headphones I would say that is very old and odd and you should get a new AVR unit anyway.
