“Green light on the transmitter, base? When I plug the transmitter into my receiver the green light on the base comes on but after a bit it goes out. When it’s off I cannot get the frequency tuned into the station. Do you know why the light doesn’t stay on?”

Hello, The green light will turn on when it is receiving an audio signal. If no audio, or low volume, the unit does not turn on to transmit the signal. A common mistake is the audio connection not going to a spot on the TV that says audio OUT PUT. If it just says audio at the connection, then the TV will not send signal from there. So you want to make sure it is labeled as output when making connection. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks

When the headphones are properly in the cradle and the cradle is plugged in, they will charge and hold up to 8 hours, I think. It's all in the instructions and if you lost those, they are available online. Senheisers are great units.
