They're too big to use them with a helmet. Sound quality is great due to its size, a smaller earbud will have smaller drivers, sound quality would be compromised.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes - they really don't stick out much - but you should check the ear piece of the helmet so ensure it does go inward so that you dont bump it. if you do end up bumping it, it may activate the "pause" or "play next" program. . .

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The brush aluminum ends might get touch interference with the helmet and cause abrupt reactions from the earbuds.. On top of that you might experiences some comfort issues because they could be pushed further in than you would want.

Also it would be very good to buy you some ear tips. you should always have your batch that fits your ear when you wear earbuds (check old earbuds and old headphones that you dont use anymore, keep them if they're in good condition of course.) They fit good out of the box but I used my ear tip's nonetheless and yes they are excellent for that activity. FYI
