Yes. These headphones are not WiFi enabled and must be connected through the digital or analog sound on the tv or receiver. The connectors are different than a regular headphone jack. These headphones also have amazing sound. I have a difficult time hearing and these headphones really deliver clear speech. I can actually hear all of the conversations now. It's amazing.
