QuestionCan this duo clean vac clean high pile plush carpet? I own the Shark lift away model and the roller gets stuck on the carpet and is very difficult to push making it impossible to use. Does this vac have a roller shutoff? Is there adjustable suction?

- Answer Hello AK, We definitely understand your concerns. We would like you to know that the Shark® DuoClean® Lift-Away Speed™ NV771 Upright Vacuum does include a variable suction control. This will help when vacuuming high-pile carpets and area rugs, rugs with fringe, or when cleaning delicate fabrics (such as curtains) with your accessories. QuestionCan this shark duo clean be used on laminate wood flooring because on my use and care Manuel it says not to use hard bristle brush roll.

- Answer I use this vacuum on all of my floors and it works great! I have wood laminate floors throughout my house, carpet in the bedrooms and tile in the bath and laundry rooms. I have no problems with scratching or marking. This vacuum is great. I also have 2 100 lb dogs and it cleans beautifully. Excellent product.

- Answer The wand stays in with the vacuum and when you want to use an attachment you press the wand botton and it separates to use or you can use only the wand without tube to make it shorter. Vacuums really good though
