“There is a small red light always on. It's on the lower left side of the TV. What is it for?”

• Read the manual. It merely shows power is connected to the set while it is off. When you turn on the set that red light turns blue.

• Red light indicates the tv is off, should turn blue when turned on

• Just to let you know that the TV is receiving power (i.e., that it's plugged in). It blinks when the TV is first turned on, then turns blue when you have a picture.
