Yes, and no - you shouldn't (ideally) have it permanently outside, as it is not outdoor rated...that said, true outdoor TVs are insanely expensive...meanwhile, if you spend a few bucks on mounting hardware that has a quick-disconnect, it's not an extremely heavy tv (19 lbs) and can be moved around relatively easily as long as you're able to wield that kind of weight without issue. We installed mounting hardware and an outlet in our screened-in gazebo, so we just carry it outside when the weather is nice and haul it back in when weather or moisture might be an issue. This isn't something we move around daily, though - it's determined by weather. If you're handy with sewing, a carry/protection bag is recommended - I made a soft-bag for mine out of a few cheapo clearance lawn chair cushion pads and some strong webbing to make carry handles. I drape my jury-rigged bag over the tv outside when we don't want to take it down and put it in the house. When it does come down, we store it in the bag just inside the door or hang it in the basement where we have another quick-mount setup in our guest bedroom area, so we aren't wasting a TV in a room that is rarely used.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have one of these TV's on a screened in back porch. I've had it out there for 3 years. It is protected from elements except the blowing, misting type rain. It has never gotten wet, just a little damp. It has survived 3 Kansas City winters. I do nothing to protect it over the winter since it is mounted in place. Our winters have not been very severe. I think I would cover it with a blanket if the temperature was going drop to near zero or below.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It can, but u wouldn't Bc of rain. Moisture will ruin it
