• No do your self a favor and buy a APC C-2 they are about $50 dollars on the net will work on any tv , I have installed TVs for over 20 years and use them on every new install and have never lost a tv , they also fix the harmonic balance problem in electric witch is a big problem with electronic s

• no the supply doesn't have an adapter or surge protector. I had to buy the surge protector separately but it was only 11 dollars. I would still consider it because it's a very good tv
