Sharp is not able to recommend any calibration settings because the ideal viewing experience for each individual will vary according to their own aesthetic preferences. If you intend to calibrate, we recommend you hire a professional calibration specialist to perform these adjustments with you to optimize the performance to your liking. As far as picture clarity, there could also be something wrong with the source equipment or you may not be receiving the signal in hi-def. We recommend you check with the provider or manufacturer of the source equipment to see if any adjustments can be made to improve signal strength. Also, check different inputs on the TV to see if this problem is evident on multiple sources.
