“STB Refresh design screen goes black and sometimes doesn't STB Refresh design pops up and the screen goes black and sometimes doesn't come back on for a couple of seconds, sometimes even longer, like 30 secs. TV is a week old and I am thinking of returning it and going with something else. Please tell me how to fix this. I have direct TV, good signal strength, 1080, What is going on and how do I fix this before it goes back.”

Turn off the hdmi power on settings in any tv when you first bye them the sat / cable providers do not send a link down the hdmi cable and the tv thinks it's going to shut off
