QuestionSTB Refresh design screen goes black and sometimes doesn'tSTB Refresh design pops up and the screen goes black and sometimes doesn't come back on for a couple of seconds, sometimes even longer, like 30 secs. TV is a week old and I am thinking of returning it and going with something else. Please tell me how to fix this. I have direct TV, good signal strength, 1080, What is going on and how do I fix this before it goes back.

- Answer Turn off the hdmi power on settings in any tv when you first bye them the sat / cable providers do not send a link down the hdmi cable and the tv thinks it's going to shut off

QuestionDoes this TV have a fixed or variable audio output control?Recently bought a Samsung 65 inch but it doesn't have an option for variable audio output, so I can't control my bose system through the TV. Thinking about trading my Samsung in for this Sharp if it has variable control.

QuestionHow is gaming?Does this TV have options to turn OFF enhancements to enable faster refresh rates during gaming? I have read many reviews for many TVs that mention slow refresh rates. I need something very fast.

The LC70UE30U features a Game AV Mode specifically designed for gaming and there are also several advanced picture settings that can be turned off if needed to enable a faster refresh rate during gaming.

- Answer The minimum width is 36" so I think 58" will be just fine. (There are 2 options on placing the legs, outer and inner inserts)

QuestionDoes this TV output 5.1 audio out of it's HDMI ARC or SPDIF Optical port?Many TV's downmix to 2.0 audio if you're playing off one of the inputs and not through internal apps/tuner.

QuestionOur Sharp LC-70UE30U is used as a digital sign at our business. We have disabled ads but they continue to play! Answers please!my company has 5 70' sharp aquos TV's but only one of the model stated above. We run a digital sign from a secure web address and only on this TV does it play ads. They are often inappropriate in our nursing home environment so we have this TV off for now. I have called sharp 4 times and they do not have the answer. I have disabled all apps and have only downloaded the web browser. How do you keep these ads from popping up and long ads that are videos for 3-5 minutes!

- Answer Sharp has the worst service ever. I would not expect much out of them. My $2,500 at home tv died in a little over year. They told me I had to buy a new one and no parts were available. Best of luck with their products.
