A:Answer The mic does not pick up a lot of background noise and people can hear you clearly. I tested this out myself while in a busy Starbucks with people around me chatting and the blenders going - my caller was able to hear me clearly. However though, you may want to consider if YOU will hear them clearly since these don't go in your ear at all. If you're going to be in a busy space like that, I would suggest using some earbuds, not turned on or anything, but just to block out noise for yourself.
