Hi Enigma, Thank you for your interest on our product. The Solis Lite is designed primarily to act as mobile hotspots to provide internet access via cellular networks. Unfortunately, it does not offer a bridge mode feature that would allow you to connect to a hotel Wi-Fi network and then distribute that connection to your own devices. The Solis hotspot does not have a built-in captive portal bypass feature, so if the hotel requires login via a captive portal, you would need to log in using the hotspot's browser interface. After logging in on the hotspot itself, the devices connected to the hotspot would typically be able to use the internet. Since the Solis hotspots are not designed to operate in bridge mode, the issue of reduced throughput when using bridge mode doesn't apply. Best, Simo support
