• A:Answer This does not replace the antenna. What is does is cuts your normal radio antenna signal off when it senses the xm is on, best way I can explain it. So now instead of trying to find an unused channel to listen to xm, I have my xm set to an actual station and as soon as I turn my xm on, station is gone and crystal clear xm

• A:Answer The cables are well marked as to which goes where, you might need adapter cables for your specific vehicle. Ask Best Buy to look up the adapter cables for your vehicle. The hard part for most is getting access to the back of your radio. You might need a professional installer for that.

• A:Answer If we understand your question correctly, you are trying to connect a standard non-powered speaker to a SiriusXM radio. Your non-powered speaker(s) need an amplifier to take the low-level audio signal from the SIirusXM Radio to be heard. If you used your SiriusXM radio in a SXDH3 or SXDH4 (SKU: 6408108) home dock, you can connect to a powered speaker or any type of home audio receiver with an AUX input.

• A:Answer Yes you can if your antenna and radio have a standard male and female connector. You will need to buy a pair of antenna adapter cables if your antenna and radio have their own special connector. Best Buy carries many antenna adapter cables. I had to buy adapter cables for my Dodge RAM and they had them in stock.

• A:Answer The SiriusXM FM Direct Adapter connects any SiriusXM dock and play radio with built in FM modulator to any vehicle radio that has a built in FM radio receiver. So when you remove your vehicle's stock radio (head unit) and replace it with an aftermarket head unit you can plug the FM Direct adapter into the FM antenna port on the replacement head unit and then plug your vehicle's FM antenna into the FM Direct Adapter and then plug the FM Direct adapter into the FM out port on your SiriusXM Dock and Play radio. When installed as outlined above, the SiriusXM FM adapter will allow normal FM reception on your vehicle head unit while the SiriusXM Dock and play radio is turned off. And when you turn your SiriusXM Dock and Play radio on the FM Direct adapter will automatically route the FM stereo modulation from your SiriusXM Dock and Play radio to your vehicle's FM receiver and automatically disconnects the vehicle's FM antenna so that no external broadcasts will cause any interference so you get crystal clear stereo audio from your SiriusXM radio. The SiriusXM Direct adapter automatically reconnects the vehicle's FM antenna to your vehicle's radio as soon as you turn off your Satellite radio. It is important to note that the FM Direct adapter must be used with a SiriusXM radio that has a built in FM modulator. All SiriusXM dock and play radios and the Roady BT have built in FM modulators and these radios all provide the best FM reception when used with the optional SiriusXM FM Direct Adapter.

• A:Answer You need a Satellite Radio such as the Onyx EZR or Roady BT and each of these include a 3.5mm stereo cable that can connect to your vehicle's Auxilliary Input if your vehicle supports this. Alternately you can add the optional FM Direct Adapter model # FMDA25 which connects between your vehicle's AM/FM antenna and the vehicles head-unit (radio). The FMDA25 connects to your Onyx EZR or Roady BT and when those satellite radios are turned on the FMDA25 disconnects the vehicle's FM antenna and send hi-fidelity stereo audio over FM to your vehicle's FM radio and since the FM antenna is disconnected all external interference is completely eliminated so you can use one FM station all across the USA. Then when you turn off you satellite radio the FMDA25 automatically reconnects the AM/FM antenna completely restoring AM/FM reception for your vehicle.

However, the FM Direct adapter does not receive satellite radio by itself. It requires a satellite radio sold separately that also needs a satellite radio subscription.

• A:Answer The FM Direct Adapter FMDA25 will work great in your Corvette. It will completely eliminate all interference from Broadcast FM stations while your Satellite radio is on and instantly restore normal FM reception when you turn off your Satellite radio. But you will also need cable adapters such as the Metra brand 40-GM30. As described here: http://www.metraonline.com/part/40-GM30 This should fit your Corvette but you can enter your exact engine and trim level on Metra's website to be 100% sure of the fit.
