A:AnswerThe AC adapter won't harm the batteries so you can leave the batteries in while using the AC adapter but it is recommended that you remove the batteries to avoid any chance of damage if you forget there are batteries inserted for a very long period of time and the batteries wear out and begin to leak from old age.

A:AnswerSiriusXM does not offer an oversized remote. However, all of our products use Infrared commands that are both unique to SiriusXM devices and able to be duplicated by many universal remote controls and especially for remotes that can 'record' IR commands by pointing our remote control at the Universal remote while the universal remote is in recording mode. There are many universal remotes available in the market place with this feature so I recommend that you check out some of those third party oversized remotes that have this recording or cloning feature.
A:AnswerSorry for the slow response. My engineer has test an SXSD2 to replicate the symptoms you described and have confirmed that it isn't a defect in the power supply and must be in the boom box itself. Send me an email at this address [email protected] and I will send you a replacement SXSD2.
A:AnswerYour question is 6 months old so this is unlikely to help. I had the same problem and because I have multiple units troubleshooting was easy. I switched the receiver to a differeent boom box and the problem travelled with the receiver. It was an Onyx Plus which I replaced to solve the noise.
A:AnswerIf your phone has an external headphone jack you can do it with a male to male adapter. You may want to set phone volume low to avoid distortion.
