QuestionI have a lifetime subscription on a portable radio. My truck has a satellite radio built in but I don't want to transfer the subscription because you can never transfer it again. Can I transfer it to the tuner so that I remove it if i get a new car?

- Answer Not sure if this helps. I had Sirius Radio on my receiver that I bought through Sirius Radio. Instead no I bought a Sony stereo that works with Sirius Radio so I bought this new receiver in the limited a lot of the wiring and was able to put the receiver behind the dash you don't even see anything but my stereo. The thing is I was able to transfer my Sirius radio from a old receiver my subscription to my new one love it hope this

- Answer Well with this Sirius tuner I was able to connect directly into the back of my new stereo Sony stereo that was satellite ready it's eliminated my Sirius radio that I had on the dashboard I eliminated that in all the wiring so you can plug it into the back of the stereo if there are plugins or you can plug it in the front it eliminated everything but the Sirius antenna that you still have to put the magnet up on top of it eliminated everything else I hope this helps

QuestionI have a 2006 Volkswagon Jetta TDI. It has a faulty factory installed XM tuner mounted in the trunk that needs to be replaced. Will this tuner accomplish that? Will the onscreen menu on the factory radio be the same?

- Answer Not sure on that question. The reason I bought this new Sirius tuner is. I bought a new Sony stereo for my car and it has the big screen like you see on the the radios that you get with the newer vehicles. Anyways I bought this so the new tuner would work with that I mean I got all the displays on the big screen and I was able to eliminate my Sirius Radio just using this tuner it goes behind the dash behind your stereo eliminates all the extra wiring the only other thing I had to do is my antenna. But I know that the newer vehicles have the built-in Sirius antenna to satellite antenna I should say hope this

- Answer Have you pulled the radio out of the dash? The “aux” input, if it says it is ready, is probably on the back of the radio.

QuestionMy Sirius XM radio has stopped working. I have contacted Sirius and have had no success with re-sets and troubleshooting. All am/fm works fine. The Sirius channel has surprisingly come on a couple of times recently but then goes off.

- Answer Not sure if this is the answer you were looking for. What I did is bought a new Sony stereo for my car it has the big screen on it and it is serious. So my stereo is Sirius ready so I was able to eliminate my Sirius Radio is all the extra wiring instead I just bought the receiver which plugs into the back of my stereo and goes behind the dash and the only thing you see is my new stereo you don't see the receiver don't see none of the wiring in the works great. Hope this

- Answer It sounds like you have an OEM stereo on your Fit. If the OEM is not XM satellite stereo receiver, I’m afraid that you might have to replace with an aftermarket stereo that has XM ready capability. You will then have to purchase the XM tuner attached to it. I have an Accord that has an OEM stereo but also has XM so I didn’t need a tuner. However, my other Honda I had to replace with an aftermarket stereo that has XM ready capability, purchased the XM tuner separately and now I have XM. You can check your professional installer for 2nd opinion.

- Answer I'm surprised a 2010 doesn't have xm radio I have a 2008 and it does I just had to activate it. If your radio show xm along with FM and am go to xm set your dial at 0 and it will give you your ID number to activate. I waited a year then it took 2 min. Sorry if you knew all this. I didn't mean to sound sarcastic but I didn't know how to identify mine so I thought I would help if I could

- Answer If your radio is original factory snd says you can play siriusxm then you only need to get s subscription. This only works on siriusxm labeled radios, aftermarket radios.
