“With these skins on the camera, is it easy to swap out the batteries? The back looks split so it will open with them ON, but I am not sure if these are best left to wired Arlo cameras.”

I have not had to change the batteries yet but when they were installed the tech who put them up showed me how the battery is replaced and it looks simple. But, I purchased the solar charging panel for mine and it may be a while before I have to replace batteries.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes..you have to remove the covering in order to swap batteries. It's not too hard to remove the covering off the camera when it is on the screw base. You can have the camera remain on the screw base and swap the batteries. If you are using the magnetic base holder, would suggest removing the camera from the magnetic base, remove the covering and swap batteries.
