“I haven't had these a year and they're already broken - I can hear in one ear but the other one either doesn't play sound or goes in and out of playing sound. These aren't expensive but still irritating to put them in the landfill so soon. Fixable?”

Mine are doing the exact same thing. I only listen to them at night so maybe it’s because I sleep with them on. Frustrating for sure only having them for 4 months.

This is gonna sound weird but blow some pressure into the side without sound. Fixed it for me.

Skull Candy is aware of his problem. Also, their products have a two-year warranty. Work with Best Buy to get a new pair.

No they are not worth fixing, but when you buy the next pair see about getting the Geek Squad protection plan on it. This will replace them if this happens again.
