• You can use this kit to direct the exhaust from the back to an outlet off to the side, but it will not change where the dryer itself exhausts. This is a universal install kit. A side vent kit is typically manufacturer-specific.

• No it is not. It’s a basic hook up for what ever vent you have on your dryer.

• No, that would be an entirely different kit. This is meant to go between the dryer and the wall. It should not pass through any walls, including the dryer wall.

• The elbow does allow for side exhaust. Mine goes out the side.
