“diameter of dryer vent is 6" I just bought a used Frigidair dryer, and the standard 4" hoses don't fit that nor do they fit my wall vent - one is 6" and the other is slightly larger. Are there 6" hoses/kits or adapters? I can't find any, and I've searched the internet (Sears, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.)”

You should be able to find an adapter at Lowes or Home Depot or Ace Hardware. In my town, the people at Ace are usually more helpful, so I'd recommend talking with an Ace Hardware employee first.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm sorry to hear about your situation. I have been delivering for Best Buy for about 7 years and have never run into a 6 inch vent. The only thing you could do is go to a hardware store and get an ABS pipe reducer. I hope this helps... and isn't 4 years and 5 months too late.
