“If I am purchasing a gas dryer do I also need an electrical cord? If so is it the newer electric cord like those used for electric ovens or is it a regular three prong cord? My old dryer is gas but it also uses a regular three prong electrical cord.”

Yes the electric cord is what makes the washing machine run. It’s the plug!!!

No The electrical cord on the dryer is the standard 110 volt. All you need is a normal socket. An electric dryer requires a 220 volt wall socket.

You just need a 3 prong 120v cord should be supplied with your appliance check with sales person

Yes you will need this cord. The installer will not install the dryer if you do t have it.
