I am pretty sure it was 4", as my vent is 4". But, I ended up using my old dryer vent instead.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is the same size as the vent on the back of the dryer, and is a standard size, connecting to my existing outside vent. As far as I know there is only one standard size for dryer vents.
