• I am pretty sure it was 4", as my vent is 4". But, I ended up using my old dryer vent instead.

• You need to be very aware of your connection in the house and not the dryer. Our connection in the house was oval and vent are usually round.

• It is the same size as the vent on the back of the dryer, and is a standard size, connecting to my existing outside vent. As far as I know there is only one standard size for dryer vents.

• Can't measure mine after installation but this kit is an industry standard. All dryers use this size of duct. I've never seen anything else. It will fit!
