A:AnswerIt is my understanding there is no deposit but only a discount on a new canister when returning an empty canister. If a canister still has the original sealed tape on it, you may be able to return it for a refund provided there is proof of purchase. The store might recycle an opened canister for you but no monetary refund. I am not a best buy employee and these are my assumptions. I do use the co2 canisters and have returned used canisters for new ones with a discounted cost to the new ones. Contact a store for more details and keep in mind not all employees are aware of the c02 canisters but more inclined to know about electronic devices.
A:AnswerIf you are referencing that fairly robust plastic (plastic like?) wrapping that requires removal to expose the nozzle: then no. I have had zero problems exchanging and receiving credit for new CO2 canisters at Best Buy.
A:AnswerThis is the only canister Sodastream makes/ sells anymore. Personally I would just use a separate soda stream dispenser as they work far better than the integrated system in the fridge (unfortunately I speak from personal use knowledge). You'll notice Samsung no longer offers sodastream in their fridges... just saying.
A:AnswerYes - I have bewn doing it for over 2 years now - HOWEVER supposedly SODASTREAM decides how many refills to send them and on what schedule! I have been there multiple times and they have NOT had any exchange ones left!
They said to call their number and ask for customer service to find out about availability BUT NOBODY EVER PICKS UP AS YOU WAIT ON THE PHONE!!!!!!
Bottomline you are stuck trying it, which I think is DEPLORABLE state for BESTBUY’s MBeach store!
Not sure I would believe the in-stock availability for the item if you check online for that store, as I am not sure they scan them in (as being in inventory).
Not a definite answer I know BUT the real lissue is with that store NOT ANSWERING their phone so you can ask!
