- Answer Hi, Thank you for your question! Yes, you can use the Sonos Amp (AMPG1US1BLK) to power the Sonance MAGROCKS 2.1 system, but the wiring is a little different than a typical setup. The system is designed so that the two satellite speakers wire into the subwoofer, and then a single speaker wire run goes from the subwoofer to the amplifier. In other words, the subwoofer acts as the central connection point for the system. I hope you found this information helpful. QuestionThe satellite speakers sounds great. But the sub is not loud. Sub gets loud/sounds good if I switch the balance to either just the left or right speaker. Why is the sub is not loud when listening to both speakers in stereo? I’m using a sonos amp. Thanks.

- Answer Hi, Thank you for your question. The MAGROCKS2.1 system requires speaker wire to be connected to the speakers and run back to an amplifier. If you used a Sonos Amp to power the Rocks2.1, you then would be able to stream music to them via wifi. If you plan on running both systems in your backyard, I recommend connecting the MAGROCKS2.1 system to its own Sonos Amp. This would give you huge flexibility by allowing you to independently control the volume on both systems. This also allows you to zone your backyard, meaning you can play one or both systems simultaneously. I hope you found this information helpful.
