Q: QuestionI have 3 rooms, two sets of wired ceiling speakers in each room with in wall volume control knobs in each room. Can I run all three rooms (6 total speakers) off this amp utilizing the volume control independently in each room?

• A:Answer Depends on the ohms and watts per channel. I personally would run a pair per amp. So you would need 3 amps. But the ohms will determine that, you could try to push more at your own risk of damaging the amp

Q: QuestionI have Sonos bar and Sonos subwoofer connected my tv. Also have 2 stand alone Sonos 5 speakers. Is possible to connect Sonos amplifier to my Tv and Sonos5 speakers and set up to work like home theatre?

• A:Answer Hi, great question! The Sonos AMP has and HDMI port that can plug into your TV. It will power two speakers of your chose in a stereo set up, imaging the center channel for clear dialog. The Sonos Fives can then be set up with the AMP as surround sound speakers. In this set up you would have a 4.0 Home Theater system. You could add a SUB for 4.1 Home Theater sound.

• A:Answer Nope, Sonos amp has only 2.1 channel output .. which means u can connect only two passive and one sub in a wired way . But it can connect Sonos product wirelessly . I my case I used Sonos amp to power two of my passive speakers and sources one Sonos sub and two sonos surround sound speekars wirelessly

• A:Answer Great question. Depends on impedance. A good rule of thumb with most speakers is that you can run up to 4 with one amplifier (2 pairs). Keep in mind that all speakers plugged into the same Amp will only ever be able to play the same thing. So if you ever want those in ceiling speakers to play different song, ext you will want to power each pair with it's own Amp.

• A:Answer Hi, and thank you for your question! You absolutely can. We recommend that if the Amp is wireless that you keep it within 20/30ft of the Arc. If everything is hardwired then you can put it where you'd like. Keep in mind there are different mounts sold for the Sonos Amp as well to make placing it even easier if putting it on a table or shelf isn't possible.

• A:Answer The new amp has connections on the back that can accommodate 3.5mm stereo jack cables, a HDMI-arc cable, a subwoofer input and 2 Ethernet cables , but the cables DO NOT come with the amp. In the box you have the amp, the power cord, and 2 sets of banana plugs for the right/left speaker wire.

• A:Answer Great question! It really depends on how your speakers are currently set up in their zones. The easiest way would be to use a Sonos Amp for each set of speakers in each room, but that would not take advantage of your current hardware which might be possible with a Sonos Port. • A:Answer The Sonos Amp will integrate with all of your other Sonos products in your home. Unfortunately, while Echo devices can control Sonos devices with voice, they are unable to play the same stream of content grouped with Sonos speakers. As far as your television it would need a Sonos product (Playbar, Playbase, Beam, or Amp) providing the sound in order to group with other Sonos zones.

Q: QuestionI have a turntable without pre amp and playbase, 2 sonos 1's, and a sonos sub. I want to hook up my turntable to play through my sonos system. What do I do?

• A:Answer I also have a turntable without any amp. Also have a 6-disc CD player. My Sonos system has a playbar, 2 Sonos One's and a Sonos amp. At first I bought a splitter (about $20) which simply allows both old devices to connect the red/white cables to the back of the splitter and then a set of red/white cables out of the splitter to the IN jacks of the Sonos amp. With this setup the CD player connects to everything and sounds great. The turntable can be heard in the Sonos system but the output is weak. I bought a Pyle PP555 pre-amp (about $23) to insert between the turntable and splitter. The sound was now louder but there was much feedback and distortion. I had to also connect a ground wire between the turntable and pre-amp which eliminated that problem. All sounds good now. Hope this helped.
