  • QuestionIs there any display models in store, I want to hear it before I buy it.

    Asked by brucebruce.

    • Answer Buy it now. Try it in your home. There is where you need to test it. A very liberal time for returns this holiday season, but I doubt you will return it. It is that good.

  • QuestionCan I mute the TV and listen to music at the same time?

    Asked by Ruffin.

    • Answer Yes you can. While watching tv you can use the app to change audio source while tv is still on or you can use Alexa or Google (whichever you choose) on the arc voice control to change audio source as well. then you can change the audio source back to tv once you unmute the tv using the app or your tv remote.

  • QuestionShould I buy stands for the 1’s i I’m putting in the rear for the surround?

    Asked by Oc74CA.

    • Answer If you dont have an end table, why not? You want them ear level. I sometimes lay them behind couches facing up but not the best way to maximize the quality. They do greatly add to the sound bar. The cords can't be in wall though. Need to be plugged in.

  • QuestionIs the width on the Sonos arc exactly 45"? The space in between the feet of our 75" tv is a tiny tad over 45" so if it's over 45" then it probably won't fit. thank you

  • QuestionCan the sonos arc sound bar be placed on a shelf directly over the tv? ( Part of the entertainment center )

    Asked by Biker.

    • Answer It will work better attached to a wall or in front of a tv but not directly below it. The Arc has up firing speakers for the Atmos effect.

  • QuestioneARC is mandatory to get a real Atmos experience rigth? If my TV has only HDMI ARC won't be enough...

    Asked by t0rn0.

    • Answer Without eARC you may be able to get Dolby Digital Plus to pass through....this is the lossy (compressed) form of Atmos. Only eARC can pass through Dolby True HD which is the full uncompressed Atmos codec.

  • QuestionI have a TCL 75 R615 with a Pioneer VSX1131– can i run the HDMI through my Pioneer (and which input) or the HDMI needs to be input into my ARC input on the TCL?

    Asked by Gr8fulfrede.

    • Answer There are no traditional speaker connections on the rear; only an HDMI port. That said, if your TV supports the eARC standard(Dolby Atmos) or Dolby Digital, you just connect SONOS ARC to the TV HDMI out. There is no benefit to running the speaker trough your receiver.

  • QuestionThe set up would be: 1) connect Q80 ARC to Sonos ARC via high speed HDMI; 2) connect the Nvidia shield via HDMI to any other HDMI port on the Q80; 3) go to settings and look for Dolby Atmos on the shield. Is there anything else I should do? Thanks

    Asked by Cole.

    • Answer As long as the app on the Shield is outputting Atmos and the Q80 is configured to properly send Atmos through its ARC port then you will get Atmos on the Sonos Arc!
