“I have a 65 `` Samsung TV and intend to buy a Soundbar, either Sonos or Bose. The TV is mounted on the wall so that I can not hook it up to the sound bar by a cord. Can these two systems be connected wirelessly? Tnx.”

No. It is connected by an optical cable. You can however buy a kit to mount your sound bar below your TV. The sound bar mount attaches to the TV.

If the tv is close enough to the wall that you can connect it via cable, you may need to look at doing a passthrough wall plate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I currently own the Sonos bar and the subwoofer. I absolutely love this purchase. It is connected wirelessly with one exception. It has one small wire that connects to the sound output on the tv. When this wire is hooked up it allows the sound to be played through the bar and no longer out the tv speakers. Other than that, there are no other wires that need to be connected to the tv for the sound bar to work. I was considering buying the Bose sound bar, but (personal preference) when I listened to the sound the Sonos bar gave out, I thought it sounded a lot better than Bose. If you aren’t already looking at getting a sub with the sound bar I highly recommend the two together. It sounds like you’re at the movies.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, but instal the sound bar close enough so you can’t see the wires, gonna need power no matter what, so what’s the big deal about the tiny optical cable. Otherwise fish the wires in the wall.
