• No need for tv. Runs through app on phone. Not Bluetooth. Runs through wireless network.

• We have the Sonos Playbar connected to our TV and also use it when watching movies on our DVD player, and programs from Apple TV. We also use it separately to listen to music without turning on the other devices and selecting the room/playbar and music via the Sonos. app.
