Music yes. Tv audio no
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Kinda. It's only input is through an optic cable. So you have to hook it up to your tv's optical port in order for it to work. I however have an HDMI switch with audio options (my tv does not have an optic port). So I have it hooked to the switch and the switch's output goes to my tv. Works just fine that way.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Absolutely. You can take a digital out from any other device that would otherwise feed your tv. For example if your cable box has a digital out. The caution though is that it would only then play sounds that come through cable. If you want it to always match what is on your tv and your tv has different inputs, then you will need to take the output from your tv. Other than tv, the soundbar can play music or other sounds from your phone or laptop or other internet connected device. I have mine play streaming music from amazon while I am working in the office.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but one of your speakers need to be connected to the Internet
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. You do not have to connect it to anything to play from the app/phone/other device. Connecting to the TV is great though and the transition from listening to TV volume to music is seamless.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only other option apart from direct connection is the Sonos App thats it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You disable your tv speakers and connect the Playbar to your tv that is how it works....so yes it has to be connected to your tv.
