- Answer Yes I would recommend it over a sound bar anytime sound quality is amazing ! I’ve got these hooked up to an outdoor Sunbrite tv. Just make sure the back of your tv has RCA connections for audio out.

- Answer Nope. These are unpowered speakers (hence the amp in the package). For different speakers in different rooms to play the same or different music, you'll need to consider Sonos 1, Play 1 or Sonos 5

QuestionHave Sonos indoors. Considering this 4 yard: Why amp & two speakers? Why doesn't Sonos just offer weather resistant normal speaker (Used Play 5 outside b4)? Large Yard, How loud is this? How will this integrate w/ my regular Sonos speakers indoors?

- Answer I too have many Sonos components and used play 5s in the past. I also wondered why they couldn’t make outdoor speakers compatible with the traditional Sonos. To answer your question the quality and sound meet the Sonos stamp of approval. The volume and sound is nothing short phenomenal. The amp connects to Sonos just like another Sonos component.

QuestionCan these speakers be played independently (e.g., the L speaker can be found on the Sonos app as a stand-alone)? Or...do the L/R only show up as 1 speaker? I want to place 1 on the side of the house and 1 on the back, and control separately.

- Answer Javier, you would need to connect the amp between the TV and the speakers. The challenge would be placing the amp close enough to the tv unless you can do some long cable runs, but the amp is not weatherproof.

QuestionHow does a phone connect to this? I'm planning on using this at a remote camp location with only power. I would just plug in the amp, run speaker wire to the speakers... i have cell service and would like to stream pandora. What are connection options?

- Answer The amp uses wifi to connect to sonos app on phone. You can select music loaded on phone or from NAS hard drive connected to your wifi router. The amp also has RCA inputs so you can connect a CD player directly

- Answer Speaker wires are needed. The Sonos AMP is the wireless device-by wireless I mean wifi or Ethernet. In the other words, The amp needs AC power for wireless wifi and The outdoor speakers are usual wired direct as a typical L/R configuration(no AC power).

- Answer Yes. Your Alexa App can recognize the Sonos and you can issue voice commands to it via Alexa. Not sure why the other dude said you couldn't.
