QuestionI have a Sony soundbar ct800 and the sound from from my PS4 pro does not pass through. The picture is fine but no sound, I have the hdmi going from the PS4 pro through the soundbar. I have a sharp tv with the special hdmi port. Am I missing something?

- Answer Hi, Wildfire121! We're sorry to hear about this. Let's isolate this issue by doing some troubleshooting steps. First, Make sure that your Sharp TV supports HDMI ARC input. Connect an HDMI cable from the HDMI ARC OUT of the Soundbar to the HDMI ARC input of the TV. Then, connect your PS4 to one of the HDMI IN input of the Soundbar. And the last step is to press and switch the input button on the Soundbar to where the PS4 is connected. - Answer Red indicates the subwoofer is off you need to press and hold sync on the subwoofer while the sound bar is on to connect the two together

- Answer Thanks for asking but I will be returning it.I bought it because I was told that it was easy to hook up.After getting it home I needed help so I called geek squad .they were unable to help like they didnt have time .They wanted to send someone,I just needed help.I told them that I just bought appliances that didnt matter an also I needed to buy more.the only thing they could say was I aim sorry and you need a appointment.Then I said I was going to return it they said okay. So my sound bar dont work and I aim taking it back.

QuestionHow can I get this sound bar to auto level the sound of commercials? My sony tv has an option for dynamic sound leveling but this sound bar does not and when I try to select that option on my tv it only activates it when the sound bar is not being used.

QuestionCan the sub woofer be placed horizontally?

- Answer There are rubber feet on the bottom. If you put it on its side, it might vibrate itself around and rattle. Maybe if you were to attach stick-on rubber feet it would work. Sub woofers are not really directional. so, its orientation should not matter.

QuestionI have a sony Bravia XBR-55X850B Tv. I do have HDMI ARC spot, plus two HDMA MHL and one regular HDMI (its not labled). My question is, how would I set this up, I have xbox1 and ps4 in two of the HDMI. Cable box runs to xbox then tv. PS4 just to tv.

- Answer I have my switch direct to my tv !! And my ps4 also going to the tv sound bar connected to arc as labeled cable box should still go to coax connection on your tv I also have my Blu-ray player connected to hdmi 4 sound bar connect to that on hdmi 2

QuestionSound bar model HT-CT800. Remote Turns on sound bar, when “yes” “no” option appears on screen, pressing right arrow on circle button will not change no to yes. Replaced batteries. No obstruction, turned off and on. No change. Do I need a new remote?

- Answer make sure your cables are hooked up correctly. You can down load an app-remote from Sony to your phone. It works great.

QuestionI use the sound bar exclusively (not tv speakers). I dusted off the sound bar & brushed the buttons on the sound bar. Power is on but no sound. I flipped the tv settings back and forth between tv speakers & sound bar. Speakers work, not sound bar. Help!

- Answer Hello there, There is no settings that you can select an input as a default, you will have to run through the input cycle by pressing the INPUT +/– button on the remote repeatedly. You can also turn OFF or skip unused inputs when selecting a function by pressing INPUT +/–. QuestionHow to make this device work with an Amazon Cube? All other devices running through work fine until I plug my Cube in, then the inputs all default to the Cube and won’t change to any of the other ones. As soon as I remove it, everything else works again!

Questioni have my sound bar connected to my TCL Roku series 6 tv and when I watch movies there is no bass coming from the subwoofer only the sound bar . I also purchased an optical cord as well. can you tell me how to fix this problem?
