A:AnswerHi TVConfused, thanks for your inquiry. The X80J doesn't support X-Wide Angle. The TVs with enhanced viewing angle (X-Wide Angle) are the X950H and Z9J series. The recommended distance for watching a 4K TV is 1.5 times the TV's vertical screen size.
Please note that the best viewing distance depends on the size and the display resolution of the TV. The recommended distance for comfortable viewing depends on the video or program you are watching, the viewing environment, and the physical conditions of the person watching it. When watching the TV from a suitable distance, we recommend to look away from the TV every now and then, or try watching it at a different viewing angle.
I hope this helps.
Regards,
Erin
A:AnswerHi Annie, Thank you for your inquiry! You can connect your TV to your cable box and connect the cable box to a power source however, the KD43X80J also has built-in TV applications that you can enjoy if the TV is connected to the internet applications such as Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and many more!
I hope this helps!
Regards,
Carl
A:AnswerHi Eric, thank you for inquiring about the X80J. We apologize but the nits is not a public specification that we disclose at this time. You can sometimes find these types of answers from reviewers and forums. Hope this helps. Sincerely, Erin
A:AnswerI don't know why Sony refused to answer this question because the panel type can make a huge difference to some people depending on how they want to use the TV. To the best of my knowledge, Sony's X80J models use an IPS panel while the X85J models employ a VA panel. The exception is the 50" X80J model which has a VA panel while all the other sizes in the series have a VA panel.
