    • Answer I didn’t get an instruction manual for the remote either; but so far, haven’t needed one. Love the minimalist remote with only 17 buttons - works way better than a touch-screen remote (based on my personal experience). Also love the new way to fast forward/reverse using the Left and Right sides of the circular round.

  • QuestionDo all sony tvs have atsc 3.0 tuner?

    • Answer I think Sony added NextGen tuners to all their sets in 2022 or 2023. My A90 from 2021 is a 1080 tuner on a 4K screen but I just bought this new A90K and it has NextGen, for sure. I would check on their website for the model you are considering since they have all the details listed on each model group. Also, to consider, is having a TIVO box to record shows off your antenna. Those have been capable of recording 4K for quite some time now and you can play it back on the HDMI 2.1 input of the Sony. Thus, you are getting a 4K picture with an older panel. Hope this helps!

  • QuestionWhat is the difference between the a80k and the a90k. They have a 55 inch that’s now on sale for the same price and only difference I can see is that it’s a80k. Googling I found it could be a better hdr quality in the a90k or a better remote.

    • Answer Hi Josh, Thanks for the question. Both the A80K and A90K Series are released this year. The A80K is available in 55, 65 and 77 inches while the A90K is only available in 42 and 48 inches. Yes, the supplied remote controller is different from each other. The A90K comes with the premium model while the A80K has the standard version. The A80K has a bit of advantage when it comes to stand positioning since you can set it up to a narrow setting.   • QuestionWhy did Sony remove the Sleep Button? And why haven't they put it back on the remotes? This has been asked for over 10 years now!!!

To set the sleep timer settings using the supplied remote control, you can simply press the quick settings (gear button) on the remote and select sleep timer or set the timer using the voice command. The google command is: "set sleep timer for xx minutes." Also, you can add Timers & Clock to the input selection screen of the TV.
