QuestionWhat is the length of the stand for the XBR49X800E model? The cabinet the TV will sit on is only 30 inches. I need the entire TV base stand to fit on the cabinet.

QuestionI can't get my Spectrum cable box to work with this TV. It doesn't want to recognize it when I use the IR blaster. Can you poit me in the right direction? Also, do I have to use the IR blaster or go old school and use 2 remotes?

- Answer I had the same problem with Apple iTV and Cox cable box. I check the HDMI connects and cable. I upgraded my HDMI cables and it corrected itself. The IR blaster works, as well as with Alexa google

QuestionTrying to decide between 800 and 900 series 49” tv. Cost is an issue. Is there a significant difference in the ease of using google home with tv? For elderly Mom who wants to use goggle home to turn tv on and off and select channels.

- Answer Hi Debby, both are great TVs with no difference in setting up with Google Home. The only difference between the two is that the 900 series has a slight advantage in picture quality compared to the 800. QuestionHey just bought this and am loving it, but don’t understand Tv button on my remote; every time I hit it is goes to my blu-ray player; same thing happens when I choose watch live tv from my home button selections. Am I doing something wrong?

- Answer The TV button can be programmed to select the input you wish to go to. If you go into SETTINGS and select INPUT DEVICES, one of the menu options will be to program the TV button. When you select that it will give you a list of inputs, just select the input port you want to associate with the TV button. I have my satellite receiver feeding to HDMI 1. I have programmed my TV button to select HDMI 1 so everytime I press it, it opens my DirecTV service.

- Answer Excellent. there is a screen setting specifically for sports and the image is the best we have had. Watched the Stanley Cup, Nascar, and the USA vs Mexico soccer game recently and all looked great.

QuestionSony tv keeps turning on and off and saying checking updates then off again. Solution I keep seeing is to go to home and settings, but I cannot even get that far because it turns off again. New batteries in remote. Still no help

- Answer You might try removing the power by unplugging the power supply for at least 10 seconds. This procedure might reset the control system and allow you to access the programming menu and check for updates.

- Answer I haven't downloaded a browser app but I find I don't need to. With chromecast built in, you can stream anything displayed on your chrome browser on your phone or pc screen. The quality is excellent, text is very readable. You will have to make sure all the devices are on your home network to be discoverable to cast.

QuestionMy issue is with volume output, or should I say lack of volume output. I have my cable box, Roku Streaming stick +, and a Blue Ray player connected to three separate inputs. Using my Roku or DVD I need to turn the volume up twice as much as my cable.

- Answer We found the voice clarity and volume an issue. We used a small BOSE sound bar with voice clarity feature as a way to get the volume and clarity that we needed.

QuestionWhen you are changing channels on Cable does it take a long time to go from channel to channel when you are channel surfing, I heard there was a long pause in between Channel changes

- Answer I am using as this as a second TV which means I have the smaller Comcast cable box attached via HDMI. Not sure if that's the reason but it does seem to pause when changing channels. More so with the Sony remote vs Comcast remote. By pause I mean .5 sec to 1 sec. I attribute that to the cable box though and not the TV. Could be wrong. Don't surf a lot so not too troubled by it.
